The Pratap memorial comprises a life-sized bronze statue of Maharana Pratap poised on his loyal and favorite horse, Chetak. It is considered that Chetak was a faithful horse and was extremely caring towards Maharana Pratap and stood by him till his death. The battle of Haldighati was the last battle for Chetak in which he was killed. People frequent this memorial to pay respect to the Rajput hero, Rana Pratap and his loyal horse, 'Chetak'.
