Sawai Madhopur

Sawai Madhopur has its location almost 180 kms north-east of Jaipur. Sawai Madhopur is a district in the eastern Rajasthan. Sawai Madhopur is a major tourist attractions in Rajasthan. These are the cenotaphs built in memory of the kings and warriors of Rajputana. The structure of the historical buildings of Sawai Madhopur offers the visitors a chance to see the intricately carved windows and archways. The famous fort in Sawai Madhopur was built in the 10th century by the Chauhan kings. The Ganesh temple in Sawai Madhopur was built in the 8th century. Every year an annual fair is organized at the venue of this temple.



Ranthambore National Wildlife Sanctuary is a famous sanctuary of Rajasthan is a property of 400 square kilometer. There a few ponds scattered all over this park and tourists may enjoy the extra-ordinary scene of tigers drinking water in the ponds of the forest. Padam Talab and Jogi mahal are the two other places of attractions in Ranthambore National Wildlife Sanctuary. Padam Talab is a very big pond located in the forest. This pond is famous as the surface of this pond is covered with lotus. Jogi Mahal is a guest house located in Ranthambore National Wildlife Sanctuary. A very old banyan tree is also located in this guest house. This banyan tree is another major attraction in Sawai Madhopur.
